Transport to and from Changi Airport

The are various forms of transport to and from Changi Airport.

Trains (MRT)

Then Changi Airport MRT station is link to both Terminal 2 and Terminal 3. You can take the skytrain to Terminal 1 from either Terminal 2 2 or 3.

Airport to City

Transfer to the west bound train at Tanah Merah Station to get to the city.

The last train leaving Changi Airport station which would allow a transfer to the last west bound train at Tanah Merah statio is at 11.18pm.

City to Airport

Take the East bound train and transfer at Tanah Merah station.

Airport Shuttle

The airport shuttle service offers transport from Changi Airport to hotels in the city. The counter is open 24 hours daily, enqure at the Ground Transport Desk at the Arrival halls

– $9 per audilt

– $5 per child below 12 years old

 

FREE shuttle bus

There is free shuttle bus services from Bedok, Sengkang MRT stations and Changi Business Park to Changi Airport and back.

However, note that most of the services runs only on weekends and public holdiays

The Free Shuttle Bus Service is open to all members of the public visiting the airport on a first-come-first-served basis. Please note that the bus luggage compartment is not available for use for the Free Shuttle Bus Service.

 

Taxis

Taxis are available at the taxi stands at the Arrival levels of each Terminal. The journey to the city is estimated to cost between $18.00 and $38.00 and takes approximately 30 minutes. Fares are metered and there is additional airport surcharge for all trips originating from the airport.

$5 airport surcharge – 5.00pm to 12.00am (Fridays to Sundays)

$3 airport surcharge – all other times

Midnight surcharge of 50% of final metered fare – 12.00am to 6.00am (daily)

Toll charges if the taxi enters the zones when the Electronic Road Pricing (ERP) is in effect.

 

Tip : If you are on a budget, do not take Limousine taxi or Chrysler taxi. The flag down rate and the meter rate is more than the normal taxis.
