Prague Castle
With an area of almost 70,000 square metre, Prague Castle is listed in the Guiness Book of Records as the largest ancient castle in the world. It is also the workplace of the President of the Republic and the seat of the Presidency.

The tickets are valid for 2 days, and are sold in Information Centres in the second and third courtyards.
Audio guides providing detailed information about both the exteriors and interiors of Prague Castle can be rented at the 2nd and 3rd courtyard. The recording lasts more than 3 hours.

Changing of Guards
The Changing of Guards ceremony takes place daily at 12pm in the first courtyard.

Tip : Wear comfortable shoes as there is a lot of walking, and bring coins as you need to pay to use the toilets.
St. Vitus Cathedral
St Vitus Cathedral is the biggest and most important church in Czech Republic. Located within Prague Castle, it contains the tomb of many Bohemian Kings and Holy Roman Emperors. The Cathedral is also the national treasury which contains some of the most important symbols of Czech statehood, such as the Saint Wenceslas Crown or the Coronation Cross with relics of the passion of Christ.
Opening hours
November to March : 09.00 – 16.00 (Mon to Sat) and 12.00 – 16.00 (Sun)
April to October : 09.00 – 17.00 (Mon to Sat) and 12.00 – 17.00 (Sun)
The entrance fees are included in the Prague Castle entrance fees.
It is possible to climb up 287 steps to the look out gallery of the South Tower of the Cathedral to enjoy the view.
