Munich Transport

A single day ticket cost €6.20 (Inner District) and entitles you to take as many trips as you like in one day from the moment of validation until 6am the next day

However, if there is more than one of you, it is better to get the Group Day Ticket (formerly known as Partner Day Ticket).

Example, if you purchase the 1 day Inner District fare (white zone) costing  €11.70, it is valid for as many trips as you like for up to 5 adults. Any two children between 6 and 14 years of age count as one adult, so ten kids can travel on one ticket..
