Monte Cristo Homestead (A night in a Haunted House)

It was built by Christopher William Crawley (1841-1910) who was a pioneer in the town of Junee, new South Wales. it is a double story late-Victorian manor of pleasing line and proportion, sitting on a hill overlooking the town.

In 1963 Olive Ryan and her husband bought the property and market it as the “most haunted house in Australia”, offering ghost tours and sleepovers in the mansion. Olive Ryan had lived in the homestead for 50 years and she had felt the presence of the home’s original owners, Christopher and Elizabeth Crawley, who are belived to have haunted the house since their death.

To deter no-show for the ghost tours, guest has to make a non-refundable $50 deposit per person within 7 days for their  Dinner, Bed and Breakfast package.

Dinner tour is $125 per person

Dinner, Bed and Breakfast is $195 per person.
